The Dauntless
The Dauntless Programme is a proposal for a vessel in the shape of a sailing ship that will act as a device for mobile arts programming across Medway. The project celebrates Medway as a river community, with strong sailing traditions and boat-building heritage. It also recognises and supports Medway's aspirations for street theatre excellence and endeavour.
The Dauntless Programme will be rolled out throughout Medway in the run-up to the Olympics acting as a catalyst and vehicle for multi-scale cultural activity and events.
It will stimulate and embrace both heritage based and arts based activity, and underpin regeneration plans pertinent to the cultural offer. All of which will support Medway as a thriving cultural hub within North Kent.
