The Night Translated
This Lieder recital is a revisiting of 19th Century Salon etiquette.
It features both German and French classical song. The concert is accompanied by a ravishing exhibition of contemporary art by painter Jillian Eldridge.
The concert takes place in the intimacy of the artists living room with repertoire that evokes all the splendours, pleasures and terrors of the night. With songs by Mahler, Berlioz and Strauss. Kent Association of the Blind members have been invited to the concert dress rehearsal and will have the opportunity to question the artists first hand.
